Dylan Thomas House
5 Cwmdonkin Drive, Uplands, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot SA2 0RA
This beautiful and unique cottage was the birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas, and has been sensitively restored to capture the Edwardian decor of the house as it would have been when Thomas composed much of his work in these rooms. The cottage has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 guests on a self-catering basis. Some of the special touches that lend the cottage its historic charm include period newspapers and games, a wind-up phonogram and a cast iron bathtub. The cottage is just one mile from Swansea.
