Just outside Llandrindod wells is the Bell Country Inn with a fine outlook facing the picturesque Welsh hills. Llandrindod Wells developed as a spa town in the 19th century and many of the shops retain a Victorian feel about them. Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground are within ten miles of the Inn and the Brecon Beacons and Elan Valley are also close by.
